This is my first time using HUGO for static pages.
At first, I thought about deploying this weblog with Ruby on Rails, but nah… I could do something simpler and faster , too much deploy drama.
So I ended up discovering HUGO.
And yeah… HUGO it is.
I guess my first topic has to be freaking AI.
This Artificial Intelligence thing is coming in hot, like a bullet train with no brakes.
The Twitter AI Influencer™
If you’ve been scrolling Twitter lately, you’ve probably seen them too.
Those AI influencers constantly saying:
“AI is gonna take your job. My job. Everyone’s job.”
And honestly?
Yeah… I partially believe that. But I don’t think it’s going to be as drastic as they make it sound.
I won’t pretend I’m some senior wizard I’m a mid-level software engineer. But from my perspective, there are still many layers AI can’t really reach.
At least for now.
Especially in:
- Complex products
- Messy or unclear business rules
- Projects that require lots of meetings just to understand what the client actually wants
Before AI even touches those layers, there’s still a huge amount of human work involved.
A real example
I 100% wouldn’t have built this website in 30 minutes if it weren’t for AI.
I had:
- Never heard about HUGO before
- Never used it
- Never even thought about it
But with:
- Some prompting
- Some documentation reading
I managed to build a fully functional weblog including a Figma design that I also prompted.
That part?
Honestly… that’s magical.
No denying it.
But this still feels like the tip of the iceberg.
AI is coming.
And yeah it’s coming in hot.
But if you:
- Know how to design systems
- Communicate well
- Solve real problems
You’re a way better asset than four coding agents running 24/7 without context.
Reality always hits production
At the end of the day, someone still has to deal with:
- Production issues
- Clients who can’t specify what they want
- Meetings with real humans
- Extremely sensitive hotfixes
Hotfixes that must be done with extreme caution.
Otherwise production goes:
Bang Bong Kaboom
(Hello Cloudflare / AWS / etc )
So yeah AI is really damn good at what it does.
But people who:
- Have strong fundamentals
- Communicate well
- And actually want to build things
I think they’re gonna be just fine.
Esta é a minha primeira vez usando HUGO para páginas estáticas.
No começo, pensei em fazer o deploy desse weblog com Ruby on Rails, mas não Dava pra fazer algo mais simples e mais rápido. Muito drama de deploy.
Foi aí que acabei conhecendo o HUGO.
E pronto… ficou sendo HUGO mesmo.
Acho que meu primeiro tema tinha que ser IA.
Essa parada de Inteligência Artificial tá vindo com força total, tipo um trem bala sem freio.
O Influencer de IA do Twitter™
Se você tem usado o Twitter ultimamente, provavelmente acabou vendo eles.
Aqueles perfis de IA repetindo o tempo todo:
“A IA vai acabar com seu emprego. Com o meu. Com o de todo mundo.”
E, sendo sincero?
É… eu até acredito em parte nisso. Mas não acho que vai ser esse apocalipse todo que pintam por aí.
Não vou pagar de especialista — sou um desenvolvedor de software pleno. Mas, pela minha experiência, ainda existem várias camadas que a IA simplesmente não consegue alcançar.
Pelo menos por enquanto.
Principalmente quando falamos de:
- Produtos complexos
- Regras de negócio confusas ou mal definidas
- Projetos que exigem reuniões intermináveis só pra entender o que o cliente realmente quer
Antes da IA chegar perto disso tudo, ainda existe uma quantidade enorme de trabalho humano envolvida.
Um exemplo real
Eu com certeza não teria feito este site em 30 minutos se não fosse a IA.
Eu:
- Nunca tinha ouvido falar de HUGO
- Nunca tinha usado
- Nunca nem cogitado
Mas com:
- Alguns prompts bem feitos
- Um pouco de leitura de documentação
Consegui montar um weblog totalmente funcional, incluindo um design no Figma que também saiu de prompt.
Essa parte?
Sendo bem honesto… é absurdo de bom.
Não tem como negar.
Mas isso ainda parece só o começo.
A IA está chegando.
E sim, está chegando forte.
Mas se você:
- Sabe pensar e desenhar sistemas
- Se comunica bem
- Resolve problemas de verdade
Você vira um ativo muito mais valioso do que quatro agentes de código rodando 24/7
A realidade sempre bate em produção
No final do dia, alguém ainda precisa lidar com:
- Problemas em produção
- Clientes que não sabem explicar o que querem
- Reuniões com pessoas reais
- Hotfixes extremamente delicados
Hotfixes que precisam ser feitos com muito cuidado.
Porque, se não, produção vira:
Bang Bong Kaboom
(Alô Cloudflare / AWS / etc)
Então é isso — a IA é boa pra caramba no que faz.
Mas pessoas que:
- Têm base sólida
- Sabem se comunicar
- E realmente querem construir coisas
Eu sinceramente acho que vão ficar muito bem.
